Khin is Country Officer of IFC Myanmar. She has been with IFC country office for 4 years, since 2013. She has 20 years of experience in banking sector in Myanmar. She began her career as a Research Assistant in the Central Bank of Myanmar in 1991. She spent 17 years in the CBM’s research field and also involved in ASEAN Finance Minister Process and ASEAN Central Bank Forum. During her service in the Central Bank of Myanmar, she was designated to represent Myanmar in the Southeast Asia Voting Group Office of the World Bank Group, where she served as the Advisor to Executive Director for more than two years. Before joining IFC, she worked for Kanbawza Bank, as the head of the Research Department for 3 years.

She graduated from Yangon University of Economics with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Statistics. She earned a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Finance from Chulalongkorn University of Thailand. She also obtained an Advanced Public Finance Diploma from Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance of Japan.
